Woonona is the family heartland of the northern Illawarra. Post-war fibros, brick veneers, kids playing under mature gums in backyard pools. The wind doesn’t hit as hard here as it does in Bulli, but the trees are the same size and the property risks are the same. We’ve been doing Woonona since 2014, and we know exactly how to take a 25-metre gum down beside a kid’s trampoline without anybody finding out.

View serviceWoonona is family-block country. The streets between the Princes Highway and Woonona Beach are full of post-war fibros and brick veneers, and most of them have been there long enough to grow a few decent gums in the backyard. Add in pools, trampolines, cubby houses, and the standard kids-running-around chaos, and tree work has to be tidy, fast, and finished by knock-off.
We’re six minutes from Fairy Meadow so we can slot in same-week jobs whenever a tree gets too close to a roof, fence, or pool fence.
A sample from across the Illawarra. Same crew, same finish standard, in every postcode.

Wollongong City Council requires a Tree Removal Permit Application (TRPA) for trees over 5 metres or 600mm trunk circumference. Dead, dangerous, or exempt species can often go without approval. We lodge the application as part of the quote so you don't chase council.
Yes. That's most of our Woonona work. We use sectional rigging on trees above pools and play equipment so nothing drops uncontrolled. Pool fences stay intact (we'll lower limbs over the fence in pieces). All gear, branches, and chip cleared before we leave so the kids can be back outside same afternoon.
Yes. Woonona catches the spillover from Bulli Pass, so we run a fair amount of post-storm pickups, especially on the older Princes Hwy-side blocks where the mature gums sit. Usually within 24 to 48 hours of the storm clearing. Insurance reports and photos supplied where needed.
Yes. Plenty of Woonona work for landlords, real estate agents, and property managers. We quote off photos, work without anyone home (with side access), and email the invoice and photo report direct to the agent for tenant or owner billing.
No. Same flat pricing across the Wollongong council area. Woonona is six minutes from our Fairy Meadow base, so no travel surcharge. Anything that needs extra rigging gear (pool access, multiple trees) is quoted up-front.
