Wollongong CBD is heritage cottages, post-war weatherboards, modern apartments, and trees that have been here longer than any of it. Salt air, tight access, council heritage rules, and the busiest streets in the Illawarra. We’ve been doing tree work in Wollongong since 2014, and we know exactly what these trees do in a south-easterly.

View serviceWollongong CBD and its inner suburbs are the oldest, busiest, most planted part of the Illawarra. You get Federation-era jacarandas next to 1960s flats next to brand-new apartment builds, all of it within walking distance of the beach, all of it on streets that weren’t designed for a 7-tonne truck.
That mix is great for character and great for property value, but it also means more council paperwork, more salt-air maintenance, and more careful access planning than the suburbs further inland.

Wollongong City Council requires a Tree Removal Permit Application (TRPA) for trees over 5 metres tall or with a trunk circumference over 600mm, measured at 1m above ground. Heritage-listed properties have stricter rules again. Smaller or dead trees can often go without approval. We lodge the application as part of the quote so you don't have to chase council.

Yes. Plenty of work for Wollongong CBD strata managers and body corporates. Communal landscaping, courtyard hedges, rooftop gutter clears, after-storm pickup. We invoice the strata managing agent direct, include certificate of currency upfront, and supply a photo report for the meeting minutes.
No. Same flat pricing across the Wollongong council area. No CBD surcharge, no travel fee from Fairy Meadow. Tight access or heritage paperwork may add hours to a job, but it's quoted up-front. No surprise add-ons on the invoice.
Yes. Loads of work for Wollongong landlords, real estate agents, and property managers. We can quote off photos, work without anyone home (with side access), and email the invoice and photo report direct to the agent for tenant or owner billing.
