Do I need council approval to remove a tree in Figtree?
Wollongong City Council requires a Tree Removal Permit Application (TRPA) for trees over 5 metres tall or with a trunk circumference over 600mm, measured at 1m above ground. Smaller or dead trees can often be removed without approval. We can lodge the application as part of the quote so you don't have to chase it.
